Main Response Job:

• Provide technical support for the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities on site. Coordinate between engineering/design team in the office and construction/commissioning teams in the site to answer all engineering-related clarifications from the site and provide site feedback to the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical support for site activities (construction, installation, testing, and commissioning) from an engineering/design perspective. Represent the engineering department on site
• Control and communicate design changes based on site conditions
• Enable and control two-way communication between the engineering team in the office and the construction/commissioning teams on site
• Provide timely, clear, and comprehensive technical answers to RFIs on site in coordination with the responsible engineers in the office
• Provide timely, clear, and comprehensive feedback to the engineering teams on their design from a construction/commissioning perspective
• Prepare engineering/design sketches or details to support site activities in coordination with engineering teams in the office
• Control the release of IFC drawings/documents based on site conditions
• Integrate and control Red-marked As-built drawings/documents and provide necessary support for the engineering team to prepare the final As-built version for all engineering deliverables to the site based on red-marked drawings from the construction team
• Review and approve sub-contractors’ material submittal
• Issue Purchase request for Engineered material on site, if required
• Ensure consistency between design and execution on site
• Highlight scope and/or design changes (data for claims)
• Followed company and engineering department procedures and workflow
• Participate and provide necessary input to build and enrich the company’s lesson-learned and knowledge database

Qualifications:

• Nationality: Any
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Related Field Experience: +5 years
• Overall Experience: From 5 to 7 years of experience
