Job Summary:

To implement activities and operations related to renewable energy operation and application development projects and coordinate them with concerned parties while ensuring compliance with all approved policies and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the evaluation and study of small and medium-scale renewable energy technologies; including cooling, heating, and water desalination technologies, and prepare reports that describe the capabilities, limitations and risks of each.
• Contribute to studying and analyzing modern technology and tools and equipment currently used in the renewable energy field and explain ways of utilizing them to improve the infrastructure within the Kingdom.
• Contribute to analyzing the technical requirements for implementing renewable energy operation and application development projects and determine priorities in accordance with the national strategies and K.A.CARE’s approved strategy.
• Coordinate the activities between the department’s various projects and concerned stakeholders and partners to ensure the compliance of the implementation with the projects’ timeframes.
• Calibrate tools and equipment used within the projects to ensure correct and accurate results.
• Prepare technical reports explaining the status and progress of renewable energy applications and business development projects and submit them to the direct supervisor.
• Continuously identify best international practices and procedures in renewable energy production to realize the visions and approaches of K.A.CARE and the Kingdom.
• Maintain all files and documents related to the activities of the department’s projects, as well as business statements and extracts, invoices, etc. and ensure that they are regularly updated and easily accessed when needed.
• Carry out any other related tasks or responsibilities as requested by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences, Energy Engineering, or an equivalent field.

2-3 years of experience in a related field.
