Alternative Energy International focuses on designing, financing, installing, and maintaining high-performance solar energy systems to help businesses optimize energy usage, achieve long-term savings, and enhance sustainability. Their services include solar PV systems, hybrid energy systems, energy audits, battery storage solutions, and maintenance for peak performance.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Abidjan and Beirut, allowing for a combination of on-site and remote work. The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for :
- Developing and managing client relationships
- Acquiring new business opportunities, and providing technical sales support.
- Key day-to-day responsibilities include managing accounts, creating and presenting proposals, delivering technical consultations, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction with tailored solar energy solutions.
- The role also involves collaborating with engineering and project management teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Technical Sales and Sales methodologies, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in Account Management and fostering strong client relationships
- Demonstrated skills in Technical Support for renewable energy or solar systems
- Proficiency in Customer Service and the ability to address client needs and concerns effectively
- In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies, particularly solar PV systems and energy storage solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced studies or certifications in renewable energy are a plus
- Experience in the West African market is highly advantageous
- Fluent in French Language is a must
