Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainability policies, programs, and initiatives in alignment with company goals.
- Develop and manage budgets for sustainability programs and initiatives.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement across the company’s environmental, social, and governance performance.
- Writing reports about environmental impacts of operations and making recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborating with other managers to develop company-wide sustainability initiatives such as recycling programs, etc.
- Coordinating projects with contractors to ensure that construction projects meet environmental standards.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations by working with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other stakeholders
- Creating plans for reducing the organization’s carbon footprint through conservation measures such as recycling, using green technology.
- Creating metrics to track progress towards goals such as greenhouse gas emissions reduction or water conservation goals.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in sustainability, environmental studies, or a similar field.
- At least 5 years’ experience working in sustainability.
- Strong project management and research skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
