Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sustainability policies, programs, and initiatives in alignment with company goals.
• Develop and manage budgets for sustainability programs and initiatives.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement across the company’s environmental, social, and governance performance.
• Writing reports about environmental impacts of operations and making recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborating with other managers to develop company-wide sustainability initiatives such as recycling programs, etc.
• Coordinating projects with contractors to ensure that construction projects meet environmental standards.
• Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations by working with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other stakeholders
• Creating plans for reducing the organization’s carbon footprint through conservation measures such as recycling, using green technology.
• Creating metrics to track progress towards goals such as greenhouse gas emissions reduction or water conservation goals.

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in sustainability, environmental studies, or a similar field.
• At least 5 years’ experience working in sustainability.
• Strong project management and research skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
