Photovoltaic Systems Engineer

Job Purpose:

Oversees the full lifecycle of photovoltaic (PV) installations, from design and development to implementation and maintenance. Ensures PV systems are efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally sustainable. Contributes to Coficab’s vision of promoting clean and renewable energy sources.

Main Activities:

• Design and develop photovoltaic systems with optimized efficiency, performance, and cost.
• Oversee project execution from concept to completion, including timeline and budget follow-up.
• Conduct technical analysis to maximize energy output and system reliability.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, legal, and safety standards.
• Monitor and evaluate PV central performance through digital tools and analytics.
• Lead troubleshooting and corrective actions during installation and operation phases.
• Implement a preventive maintenance plan to reduce system downtime.
• Generate reports with recommendations for continuous performance improvement.
• Stay updated on trends in PV technology and apply innovative solutions.
• Train and support internal teams to foster expertise in solar energy.
• Comply with Coficab’s Quality and EHS systems, corporate values, and confidentiality policies.

Educational Background (or equivalent level):

Engineering degree in Energy, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

Required Experience:

3–5 years in a similar position within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
