About the job
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our client’s market presence in the Middle East. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, cultivating customer relationships, and delivering strong commercial outcomes in the renewable energy sector—primarily focused on utility-scale renewable power projects.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia or Dubai, UAE
For the right experience, a Sales Director level can also be considered.
Current relationships with local energy developers a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in renewable energy markets.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles, including proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including developers, utilities, EPCs, and government bodies.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (engineering, legal, finance, project management) to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and policy developments to inform strategy and positioning.
- Represent our client at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Renewable Energy, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in renewable energy, power generation
- Proven track record of managing high-value sales and closing complex contracts.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a consultative selling approach.
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, project development processes, and regional energy markets.
- Fluent in English, Arabic and additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
