A Photovoltaic (PV) Design Engineer specializes in designing solar power systems, primarily for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the preliminary project survey, including the required wind measurement and meteorological data collection, site location macro and micro selection, understanding owners needs, etc., and provide technical support for the concept design.

Responsible for the selection and design of photovoltaic modules, supports, inverters, DC cables, etc..

Responsible for the optimal array of PV system, site layout of PV plant, the concept design, preliminary design and detail design.

Responsible for PV simulation report design of photovoltaic system, PV resource analysis, component layout, equipment selection, power generation estimation, performance guarantee report, etc.

Assist in the preparation BOQ of PV system.

Provide technical support to the project department for bidding.

Responsible for PV system design management and design review.

Can independently complete the preparation of bidding works, including technical report, drawings, simulation report, performance guarantee report, etc.

Able to independently complete the feasibility study report of new energy projects, electrical system access report, and the concept design, preliminary design and detail design of new energy subjects.

Have a certain understanding of the electrical system, and can cooperate with the electrical engineer to complete the field electrical design work.

With strong design ability and engineering practical operation experience, familiar with the performance and selection of relevant equipment, able to independently complete the assigned design tasks.

Familiar with the mainstream photovoltaic module, inverter, bracket manufacturers and products in the market. Familiar with the operating principle of energy grid-connected inverter, bus box and other products.

Be able to review the PV system design and report.

Experience in the whole process design of new energy EPC project and project site management.

Have strong communication and coordination, organization and design management skills.

Familiar with the development status PV market, real-time tracking, understand the development of equipment market and the latest technology trends.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Educational qualification requirements：Bachelor’s degree or above

MAJOR：New Energy Science and Engineering, photovoltaic technology application, Electrical engineering, power system application and other related majors are preferred

YEARS OF WORKING：Not less than 8 years as PV system Engineer or similar role

PROJECT EXPERIENCE：Independently completed the preliminary design and construction drawing design of 10 or more PV projects

SOFTWARE：Proficient in PVsyst, meteonorm, Candela etc. Proficient in AutoCAD and other drawing software.
