Mechanical Field Service Engineer – AGT

How You Will Make An Impact

• Performs complex, specialized tasks on IGTs during new installation and Major Overhauling, Power Turbine periodic Inspections.
• Repair or work on modification projects in accordance with Siemens work procedures.
• Field service Reporting & documentation of all installations, inspections, maintenance repair work and failures Analysis.
• Performs complex service calls and collaborate with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution.
• Capable of developing detailed outage plans.
• Capable of executing and supervision of outages at AGT/SGT/MGT.
• Performs assessment of equipment condition and applies repair or improvement measures based on Siemens standards.
• Catalogue of corrective measures
• Participates in responding to semi-complex service calls.
• Capable of Trouble shooting.
• Participate & Drive QEHS.
• Extensive travel will be required for this position 80% within domestic and international.
• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on Siemens Energy products.
• Take part in root cause analysis and fault diagnostics as required.

What You Bring

• We are looking for a degree level in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Equivalent Education or have vocational qualifications in these cases with at least 7 years of related engineering experience or in a similar role.
• At least 7-10 years’ experience in Field Service of Gas compression, centrifugal and gear types
• Hold or be able to acquire offshore working certificates.
• Experience in multicultural teams required.
• Phenomenal teammate & Capable of Training Juniors.
• You are considered to have a professional, proactive, and flexible approach to your work.
• Have a strong work ethic and able to demonstrate initiative, be a flexible self-starter, working with the minimum direction and can work with a wide range of people as well as be a standout colleague.
• Ability to mobilize at short notice for emergency situations as well being away from home for extended periods including weekends.
• A high safety standard and lead by example.
• Customer Focused Mechanical lead.
• Act as a mentor and coach for junior engineers.
• Good cooperation and communication skills.
• Take initiatives and are self-motivated.
• Customer oriented & Quality attitude.
• Willing to support New Unit projects within the region as required.
• Hands on Work experience and solving Knowledge of AGT & MGT.
• AGT Certification is considered a merit.
• Familiar with Siemens Energy SAP.
• Work Experience with 10+ Years core experience on SGT-A35 RT-56, RT-62, A-65, AVON.
• NDT Knowledge.
• Rotating Equipment Field Alignment
• Supervision Knowledge for Lube oil & Auxiliaries system.
• Cross product knowledge and experience on SGT/TCP/AGT will be an added advantage.
