Job description:

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect, test, and maintain electrical equipment, including motors, generators, transformers, and switchgear.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and tightening connections.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose electrical faults and malfunctions using specialized equipment and techniques.
• Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns.
• Ensure that all electrical work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency in electrical systems.
• Implement energy-saving measures, such as upgrading equipment or optimizing control systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Prepare reports on equipment performance and maintenance costs.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of electrical system upgrades or new installations.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers.

Academic Qualification :

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering Work Experience 3 to 10 Years

Skills:

• Strong understanding of electrical power systems and substation equipment.
• Experience using electrical testing equipment and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety procedures.
