This position reports to

Service Operation manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in conjunction with the Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology. Each day, you will determine costs, prepare final documentation, and serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by performing lost proposal analysis, identifying potential cause, and recommending future actions.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.
• Preparing / supporting in the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives.
• Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through information from general market and the Sales organization
• Performing lost proposal analysis, identifies potential cause, and recommends future actions in cooperation with Sales team/local business to obtain better future results.
• Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicates it to the Sales organization. LICENSE TO OPERATE / CORE VALUES
• Providing information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and sometimes participates in the risk review assessment.
• Ensuring that Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and integrity requirements are integrated and are up to date in their respective business process(es) and applications. COLLABORATION / LEADERSHIP
• Participating in kick-off meeting organized by the project team.
• Providing technical support during technical meeting, product presentations, and negotiations and offers product/solution/service-related training.

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• 10+years of experience in a similar role
• You are at ease communicating in English
• Extensive knowledge of LV & MV components
