About the Role

We are seeking an O&M Executive Officer to oversee the operations of large-scale PV power plants in Saudi Arabia. While the plants are already operational, this role is critical in ensuring smooth operations, contract compliance, financial oversight, and stakeholder alignment.

The position blends technical understanding (preferably electrical/transformers) with strong business acumen, governance, and contract management. The successful candidate will manage 1–2 direct reports and lead relationships with O&M partners, regulators, and shareholders.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Governance

• Oversee operational performance of existing PV plants in partnership with O&M contractors.
• Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor financial and operational reporting to ensure transparency and accuracy.

Business & Finance

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement responsibilities.
• Review and approve O&M-related expenditures and ensure cost optimization.
• Provide regular updates and insights to the Project Company Board and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as primary contact with O&M partners, shareholders, off-takers, and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with PPAs and other project agreements.
• Represent the company in key meetings and negotiations.

Team Leadership

• Manage 1–2 direct reports and build internal capability for long-term success.
• Support succession planning and nationalisation initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Nationality: Saudi (mandatory)
• Background: Senior-level experience in electricity-generating power plants (PV not required).
• Technical: Electrical engineering preferred, with strong knowledge of transformers.
• Business Acumen: Proven experience in governance, finance, contracts, and stakeholder management.
• Leadership: Experience managing teams and external contractors.
• Skills: Strong communicator, financially savvy, with the ability to balance technical oversight and business management.
