We are seeking a Senior Manager – BESS to act as the central technical expert for utility-scale battery energy storage systems. This role supports projects across their full lifecycle, from bid to operations, providing critical engineering input on system configuration, technology selection, performance analysis, and vendor engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical design and evaluation of BESS systems during bids
• Review EPC deliverables and support design optimization
• Act as the engineering lead for BESS across design, testing, and operational phases
• Analyse plant performance and support root cause investigations
• Evaluate emerging technologies for scalability and commercial viability
• Transfer knowledge between bid, execution, and operations teams

Requirements:

• 5–10 years of experience in power/utilities with a focus on BESS, inverters, or power electronics
• Engineering degree (Master’s or PhD preferred)
• Strong technical and analytical skills, including system design and performance modelling
• Comfortable presenting technical recommendations to senior stakeholders
