My Tasks Are:
- Oversee overall site construction activities with support from discipline engineers.
- Coordinate closely with project management and construction teams to ensure smooth EPC construction activities.
- Develop and interpret key performance indicators for senior project management to track construction progress.
- Participate in construction meetings, capturing and delivering meeting notes as needed.
- Maintain continuous liaison with clients, providing advice and assistance for quality and effective construction management.
- Interpret P&IDs, specifications, and IFC drawings to ensure compliance with construction method statements.
- Review documentation to achieve Mechanical Completion Certificates (MCCs) and Ready for Commissioning (RFC) Certificates.
- Prepare and issue construction snag lists, monitoring clearance within a reasonable period.
- Attend company-organized training courses and adhere to QHSE policies and procedures.
- Coordinate commissioning activities with other disciplines.
I Should:
- Knowledge of construction safety standards, quality control for site construction activities, and technical expertise in desalination plant and pipeline construction.
- Leadership and team management, strong communication skills, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, adaptability and flexibility.
- 20-25 years of experience in the construction of large-size (above 30 MIGD) desalination/water treatment plants and pipeline construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or similar, combined with relevant working experience.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
