Activités
- Financial Modeling & Scenario Analysis
- Develop, maintain and refine detailed financial models to support project financing, cost tracking and cashflow forecasting.
- Actualize the financial models to carry out periodic lookback IRR exercise for SPCs
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate the impact of potential risks, delays or cost variations on project outcomes
- Provide recommendations based on model outputs to support strategic decision-making by sponsors, lenders and project teams
- Analytical Review and Cost Tracking
- Perform detailed analytical reviews of construction costs, budgets and financial reports prepared by SPC finance teams to identify trends, variances and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with project teams to reconcile actual costs against budgets and update forecasts based on progress and risks
- Present insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders through concise reports and dashboards
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the preparation and continuous refinement of construction-period budgets and forecasts
- Monitor and analyze project cash flows, ensuring alignment with financial models and project schedules
- Reporting & Stakeholder Support
- Support N+1 in producing presentations and materials for board meetings, lender reviews and other stakeholder engagements
- Deliver regular financial updates and scenario-based insights to sponsors, lenders and project teams
- Process Optimization & System Integration
- Enhance financial modeling processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Integrate analytical tools and systems to streamline data collection, processing, and reporting.
- Establish best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for analytical reviews and scenario building.
Profil du candidat
- At least 3-4 years of power sector financial modelling experience.
- Must have credible exposure to large infrastructure project finance management in JV context.
- In minimum possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Preferable to be familiar with renewable energy non-recourse financing structures.
- Fluency in English with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Capable of understanding and communicating complex financial issues in a timely, concise, and objective manner.
- Excellent ability to analyze and recommend solutions to a variety of difficult situations and problems.
- Strong computer skills, including spreadsheet and database applications.
