Job Summary

One of our clients is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Renewable Energy Specialist to lead and manage the development, tendering, and execution of large-scale renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, with a strong track record in handling government tenders and delivering complex projects in compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee renewable energy projects from conceptualization to completion.
• Manage government tender processes, including preparation, submission, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with government bodies, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory updates within Kuwait’s renewable energy landscape.
• Provide strategic input and technical guidance to support business development and project acquisition.
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the public and private sectors.
• Ensure all projects meet technical, financial, and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on project development and execution.
• Proven experience managing and winning government tenders in Kuwait or the GCC.
• Deep understanding of Kuwait’s renewable energy market, laws, and government procurement systems.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
