Position: Engineer – Sales support

Qualification: B-TECH /BE – Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Experience:2 to 3 years of sales support / Estimation experience in (EV charging /Green energy /Sustainable Energy/Electrical equipment sector.

Reporting to: EV Infra Solutions Manager

Below is the Job description:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Immediate attention to the enquiries to support the Sales Engineer
  • Prepare the techno commercial offer, coordinating with the sales engineer and send to the customer on time.
  • Material submittal preparation on time in line with Project Specification, SLD and BOQ.
  • Support the Sales Engineer for Technical discussions with clients, consultants, contractors, and the facility management team.
  • Registration of a company in different entities and raising awareness of the concept or technology.
  • Based on the client’s budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out Value engineering studies.
  • Estimation for electrical systems incorporating for the project.
  • Making Pre-Qualification documents, both standards as well project project-specific Questionnaires.
  • Support to coordinate with the internal operation for the site evaluation for the initial pitch of turnkey projects.
  • Support to coordinate with the internal operation teams to obtain contractor quotes in support of sales opportunities.
  • Interface with internal departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness of solution delivery to individual end users.
  • Support for conducting in-depth product demonstrations of products/services.
  • Support in presenting the product (EV charging) and all features to customers at all the relevant events.
  • Support in establishing new accounts and service accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedules.
  • Support in preparing sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
  • Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
  • Support the sales engineer to submit the monthly Sales and Project progress report to the line manager.
  • Address any issues related to techno-commercial to the line manager whenever support is needed.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Discuss the market feedback and information within the team during brainstorming sessions to sharpen our strengths and knowledge.
  • Communicate with the OEM factory whenever required
