Our client is a leading and established Utility scale Photovoltaic & Energy Storage Developer who are looking for a Solar PV & Energy Storage Engineer who will support the focus on the development and implementation of their International pipeline of projects.

Responsibilities

• Technical support during the project origination phase, ensuring feasibility and viability.
• Evaluate environmental and urban planning considerations, highlighting any potential impacts on project execution.
• In-depth infrastructure and interconnection analyses, assessing associated costs and mitigating potential challenges.
• Produce and compile technical documents and reports, including Technical Design Documents, to expedite project progress and regulatory compliance
• Provide technical support in discussions with contractors and constantly seek opportunities in equipment and design to optimise LCOE and new technologies.
• Follow and oversee the consultant and EPC during the design, implementation, re-powering, construction and commissioning phase
• Support the entire Project Development process in Italy, from acquisitions to technical due diligence, leveraging expertise in energy yield assessments and new technology evaluation.

Desirable skills:

• At least 4 years of proven experience in PV development and application
• Understanding of main PV equipment suppliers, models, technologies (modules, inverters, trackers/fixed structures, etc.) and equipment costs
• Competent of PC software and communication tools (MS-Office, PVSyst, AutoCAD etc.)
• Good technical language skills in spoken and written English and Italian, other language skills are an advantage.
