Job Title: Process Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Own and achieve the cell conversion efficiency and quality targets for the assigned process/workshop.
Optimize processes and make timely adjustments to process parameters.
Monitor the production process; analyze and handle quality abnormalities for products in the assigned process, and compile reports on resolved issues in a timely manner.
Be familiar with machine process card requirements and conduct regular checks on machine parameters; promptly report any identified issues and organize technical personnel to resolve them.
Propose rational suggestions for improving process operations and refining documentation; participate in creating SOPs, process specifications, etc., and train frontline operators.
Participate in the overall execution of experiments, projects, process optimization, cost reduction, and technology enhancement for the assigned process.
Responsible for the commissioning and debugging of new processes and new equipment.
Assist in training new hires according to the department’s structured development plan.
Cooperate with the Technology and Product teams on projects, experiments, and abnormality resolution.
Identify hazards and environmental aspects relevant to the position and operate in strict accordance with established procedures.
Participate in promoting and advancing the safety initiatives of the workshop area; act as a part-time “Safety Patrol Officer” to organize employees in the execution of management systems and standard operating procedures.
Participate in and maintain the Quality, Safety, Occupational Health, and Energy management systems; fulfill the energy management responsibilities for this role, including target setting, performance achievement, and reporting.
Implement all safety production responsibilities for this position in accordance with the department’s “Safety Production Responsibility System.”
Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Photovoltaics, Physics, Chemistry, Microelectronics, Semiconductor, Materials Science, or a related major.
Proficient in using computer office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Logical and Analytical Skills: Ability to determine process stability from data trends and extract key elements from complex problems.
Communication and Coordination Skills: Ability to collaborate with cross-departmental teams such as Equipment, Production, Quality, and Procurement to drive the implementation of process improvements.
Hands-on and Resilience: Ability to adapt to the workshop environment and withstand high-intensity work pressure during production ramp-ups and process abnormalities.
Learning and Innovation: Ability to quickly grasp the principles and logic of new technologies and processes in the fast-developing PV industry, with a mindset for innovative optimization.
Possess a strong sense of responsibility, ambition, and integrity.
Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively and read technical literature.
Note: This position requires shift work.
