About the job
This ideal candidate will partner with Account Executives to find, contact, and follow-up with prospective clients. Once they discover the client’s needs, they will discuss our product’s technological capabilities and business value with the client. The ideal candidate should be able to clearly articulate highly technical concepts to all prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute sales plans to meet performance expectations and requirements.
• Develop and maintain liaison with top management of key regional home builders, contractors, specifiers, architects, engineers, and projects located within the territory.
• Understand and demonstrate the features and benefits of the full line of Residential Products (circuit protection and Wiring Devices). The WDS can conduct training of others on product usage and applications.
• Ensure appropriate technical assistance regarding product applications to electrical contractors, and users, etc.
• Develop targeted customer lists and project pipelines for customer conversions and provide support during those conversions.
• Inform the Division of business and product trends, competitive conditions, and voice of the customer within the region.

Qualification:
• Educational: bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience: Minimum one year in sales and the Electric field.
Preferred Skills:
• Driving license is a must.
• Strong work ethic, great interpersonal skills, competitiveness.
• Willingness to learn, as well as be adept at building relationships.
• Knowledge of Wiring Device products, market knowledge, established customer relationships within the market area.
• Good time management, presentation.
• Training skills, planning skills, value added selling, teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
