Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Procurement Engineer with extensive experience in international procurement practices. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of electro-mechanical systems and be adept at managing services contracts considering tax and legal implications. This role requires an analytical mindset and a proactive approach to sourcing and vendor management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s objectives and electro-mechanical requirements.
• Manage the entire procurement process, from vendor selection and negotiation to contract execution and performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with international procurement standards and Incoterms.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement activities.
• Collaborate with the legal department to ensure contracts are compliant with applicable taxes and legal regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Provide technical guidance on the specifications of electro-mechanical components and systems.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and resolve any procurement-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement within a technical field, preferably in electro-mechanical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of international procurement practices and Incoterms.
• Experienced in drafting and managing service contracts, with a solid understanding of tax and legal implications.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in ERP and procurement software.
