Due to our strong pipeline of projects within the power generation field we may have an opening for an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join our team and take a pivotal role in the successful execution of our power generation projects.

Your new role, what’s involved?
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with project managers to develop electrical project plans and schedules.
- Ensure that electrical project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Monitor and report project progress to senior management.
- Electrical System Design:
- Review and interpret electrical engineering drawings and specifications.
- Provide input into the design phase to optimize electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and regulations.
- Installation and Maintenance:
- Supervise the installation of electrical systems and equipment on-site.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality and safety of electrical installations.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of electrical technicians and support staff.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior team members.
- Foster a culture of safety and professionalism within the team.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures for electrical work.
- Conduct quality inspections to identify and rectify any issues promptly.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all electrical work is performed in compliance with safety regulations.
- Investigate and report any safety incidents or near misses.
- Budget Management:
- Manage the electrical project budget effectively, including cost estimation and control.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power generation projects.
- Experience with Combined Cycle Gas turbines
- Professional engineering license preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
- Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging construction environment.
