Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Mechanical Engineer to oversee electrical design. The candidate will have extensive experience working with renowned design consultants and possess a knowledge of mechanical systems and software tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• To review Mechanical shop drawings.

• Review CFD calculation, load calculation

• Should have good skills in Revit

• Conduct detailed reviews of HVAC and Fire Protection calculations.

• Design and review HVAC, Fire Protection, Drainage network,

• Review specialist calculation such as clean agent, stress analysis.

• Review equipment schedule, Schematic diagram, General and Typical layout drawings.

• Review and Prepare shop drawings for Wet Infrastructure utilities

• Prepare Material technical submittal, review project specification, prepare technical elevation and coordinate with manufacturer/vendor for compliance with specifications.

• Prepare technical comparison of received offers.

• Prepare the detailed BOQ for mechanical system.

• Coordinate with project specialists, BIM coordinators to prepare, review coordinated section, clash reports to avoid clashes during execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

• 5 to 8 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with a well-known design consultancy.

Competences:

• Knowledge of HAP, Elite, Revit, and BIM software.

• Strong understanding of HVAC, Fire protection systems, plumbing and drainage network.

• Experience with design consultants in KSA.

• Familiarity with SBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, SMACNA, UMC, and other local and international electrical codes and standards.

• Should be familiar with civil defense/FLS requirements.
