🚀 Hiring: Deputy Executive Managing Officer (Deputy EMO) – Power & Utilities

📍 Umluj, Saudi Arabia

Support the Executive Managing Officer in leading the Project Company’s overall operations. Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and reporting obligations while contributing to profitability, sustainability, and operational excellence across the project lifecycle. Oversee construction, operations, and corporate governance in line with Board directives and corporate strategy.

What you’ll do:

• Assist the EMO in executing company activities across leadership, governance, finance, and operations.
• Monitor EPC contractor performance, quality standards, and construction schedules.
• Support O&M oversight to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations aligned with contractual KPIs.
• Contribute to corporate strategy, financial planning, and performance target setting.
• Maintain strong relationships with offtakers, EPCs, O&M partners, lenders, and government authorities.
• Support financial management: budgets, covenants, cash flow, and insurance programs.
• Provide timely and transparent reporting to the EMO and the Board.
• Promote HSSE compliance and foster a culture of “Zero Harm.”
• Participate in workforce planning, succession development, and talent management.
• Represent the Project Company in meetings with stakeholders as delegated by the EMO.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical preferred).
• 15+ years’ experience in the utilities, power, or industrial sector, with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Strong track record in managing both construction and operational phases of large-scale projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with Boards, regulators, lenders, and external partners.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with strategic problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation capabilities.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
