Key Accountabilities:
- Project Planning and Management:
– Develop detailed project plans including scope, timeline, resources, and budget.
– Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
– Regularly communicate project status to stakeholders and adjust plans as necessary.
- MES System (Manufacturing Executive system) Implementation:
– Oversee the entire MES implementation lifecycle, from planning to execution.
– Ensure the MES integrates seamlessly with existing IT and manufacturing systems.
– Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Lean Manufacturing Integration:
– Utilize lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
– Collaborate with production teams to implement lean strategies.
– Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
- Factory Readiness Assessment:
– Assess current factory conditions and readiness for MES implementation.
– Identify and mitigate potential risks.
– Ensure necessary infrastructure and training are in place before deployment.
- Stakeholder Management:
– Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
– Engage with stakeholders to align project goals with business objectives.
– Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Training and Support:
– Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for factory staff on the new MES.
– Provide ongoing support and address issues post-implementation.
– Create detailed documentation and user manuals for the MES system.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
– Ensure all project activities comply with industry standards and regulations.
– Implement quality assurance measures to maintain system performance and reliability.
Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Lean manufacturing Green or black belt certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in manufacturing systems.
- Proven track record in implementing Manufacturing Execution System (MES )
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to assess factory readiness and manage change effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software (Microsoft Projects) and MES platforms.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the cable manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and their integration with MES.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
