Overview G42 Healthcare is an Abu Dhabi based health technology company active across data and AI, digital health, advanced OMICS, pharma, diagnostics and environmental sciences. G42 Healthcare has recently merged with the healthcare arm of the Abu Dhabi Sovereign Fund Mubadala (Mubadala Health) creating a unique organisation with over 7,000 staff spanning omics, technology and healthcare provision. G42 Healthcare is also the facilitator of the 1 million Emirati Genome Program, operating an NGS facility that can deliver over 500,000 whole genome sequences per annum. As a Product Manager for AI-based products and solutions in Environmental Sciences, you will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering innovative solutions that leverage AI technologies to address environmental issues. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, designers, and domain experts, to understand market needs, define product strategies, and guide the development process from ideation to launch. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful delivery and adoption of AI-powered products that meet the unique challenges and requirements of the environmental sciences field. Responsibilities Product Strategy: Develop and drive the product strategy for AI-based solutions in the environmental sciences domain. Conduct market research, analyse customer needs and feedback, and identify opportunities for product enhancements and new product development using AI-technologies. Product Planning and Roadmapping: Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, create detailed product roadmaps, and prioritize features and functionalities based on business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, designers, and domain experts, to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient execution of product development initiatives. Facilitate effective communication and alignment across teams. User-Centric Design: Champion a user-centric approach throughout the product development lifecycle. Conduct user research, gather feedback, and collaborate with designers to create intuitive and impactful user experiences. AI Integration: Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to identify and evaluate AI technologies and algorithms suitable for environmental sciences applications. Drive the integration of AI capabilities into product features and functionalities. Product Launch and Adoption: Lead the successful launch of new products and features, including defining go-to-market strategies, conducting user training, and facilitating product adoption. Monitor product performance and iterate based on user feedback and market dynamics. Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including customers, regulators, partners, and internal teams, to gather feedback, address concerns, and build strong relationships. Act as a product evangelist, promoting the value and benefits of our AI-based environmental solutions. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, environmental sciences, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas are a plus. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Product Manager in the software or technology industry, with a focus on environmental sciences and data analytics. AI and Environmental Sciences Knowledge: Strong understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, machine learning algorithms, and their application in solving environmental challenges. Familiarity with environmental sciences, including climate change, natural resource management, and sustainability, is advantageous. Product Management Skills: Proven track record in successfully driving end-to-end product development cycles, from ideation to launch. Experience with Agile methodologies, user-centric design, and product management tools is essential. Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify opportunities, and develop strategic product plans. Strong data-driven mindset and proficiency in data analysis tools are desired. Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
