Job Summary

As PV Sales Engineer, you’re responsible for designing and sizing PV Solar System installations in large or multisite projects. You will be responsible also for the analysis and estimation of PV Solar project opportunities through the sales pipeline.

Internal – All departments.

External – Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Consumers.

Reporting to

GM of Project Development

  • Size, design, quote, and demonstrate proposals to customers.
  • Build solid contacts within the PV industry to identify new business opportunities.
  • Promote PV Solar Systems, develop proposals, and negotiate solutions with customers.
  • Evaluate feasibility (including technical & financial aspects) of PV Solar projects.
  • Manage and coordinate activities of sale, design, and construction of PV Solar System to customers as one-stop design & build (D&B) solution provider.
  • Commercial acumen to negotiate and sell large PV Solar Systems (above 2 MWp), multisite installations, and corporate clients.


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Renewable Energy or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role ideally within one of the leading PV Solar EPC Contractors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • IT literate – MS Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
