Job Overview:

As a Renewable Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales of solar energy systems and solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. You will work closely with customers to understand their energy needs, propose suitable solar solutions, and manage the sales process from initial contact to closing. Additionally, you will stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to provide informed recommendations to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market opportunities for solar energy systems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their energy requirements, and offering tailored solar solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share for Huawei inverters.
  • Identify and prioritize sales opportunities within assigned territories or market segments.
  • Provide feedback to Huawei’s product management and marketing teams based on customer insights and market intelligence.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers and project managers, to design and develop customized solar energy systems.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and advancements in solar technology to provide up-to-date recommendations to clients.
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the company.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote company products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the solar energy industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Solid negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
