Izzat Marji Group (IMG) is a leading company in different sectors in Jordan and the region. IMG is looking for hiring a “Sales Manager” with at least 5 years of experience in Solar PV systems to be responsible for managing the Solar PV sales team (EPC). Only candidates with Solar PV sales experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Performing sales activities, including; approaching new customers, following up with customers, Preparing proposals, and Closing deals.
  • Work closely and build relationships with customers
  • Provide technical support when needed
  • Recruit, hire and train the sales team
  • Set sales goals, compare performance to goals
  • Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
  • Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team members
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Energy Engineering from a reputable university
  • At least a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in PV sales management with extraordinary sales and social skills
  • Proven experience in participating and winning Solar PV tenders in Jordan
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Excellent command of the Arabic language
  • Good command of MS Office and MS AX ERP system
  • Analytical thinking results and a quality-oriented approach, solid professional judgment & problem-solving ability and good communication skills are required competencies.
  • Ability and willingness to work with a positive attitude when faced with site difficulties, ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization, and ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Professional certification in Energy such as CEM, REP is a plus
