Izzat Marji Group (IMG) is a leading company in different sectors in Jordan and the region. IMG is looking for hiring a “Sales Manager” with at least 5 years of experience in Solar PV systems to be responsible for managing the Solar PV sales team (EPC). Only candidates with Solar PV sales experience will be considered.
- Performing sales activities, including; approaching new customers, following up with customers, Preparing proposals, and Closing deals.
- Work closely and build relationships with customers
- Provide technical support when needed
- Recruit, hire and train the sales team
- Set sales goals, compare performance to goals
- Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
- Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team members
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
- Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members
- Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
- Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed
- B.Sc. in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Energy Engineering from a reputable university
- At least a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in PV sales management with extraordinary sales and social skills
- Proven experience in participating and winning Solar PV tenders in Jordan
- Excellent command of the English language
- Excellent command of the Arabic language
- Good command of MS Office and MS AX ERP system
- Analytical thinking results and a quality-oriented approach, solid professional judgment & problem-solving ability and good communication skills are required competencies.
- Ability and willingness to work with a positive attitude when faced with site difficulties, ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization, and ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Professional certification in Energy such as CEM, REP is a plus
