PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading and driving the project development; develop the most optimized proposal and streamline the project development process
  • Support the senior management on strategy evaluation
  • Design, coordinate and deliver on work packages in support of project origination efforts, existing project developments, and general business activities. This includes supporting our technical experts (internal and external) on development, coordinating necessary due diligence (including credit, ethics, HSE checks), coordinating with legal and finance teams, supporting in preparing investment memos, as well as transaction and analysis work to increase value of our projects.
  • Coordinate various discussions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Review and negotiate commercial heads of terms, financial term sheets Subcontracts, financing agreements, and project agreement as applicable
  • Liase with the finance team to ensure the financial model reflects the true costs and timing of cashflows
  • Liase with the legal team to ensure subcontracts are negotiated and executed in a timely manner
  • Oversee the development of the solution for decarbonization solutions ensuring optimal design, engineering, procurement and implementation planning
  • Conduct lifecycle tradeoff analysis for various solutions and options to determine the optimal solution
  • Analyse project scopes, tender terms and other site/client requirements in detail to mitigate risk and devise the optimal solution
  • Coordinate with the procurement department to obtain supplier proposals
  • Ensure an integrated solution to the benefit of the client, including solar PV, energy storage system and cogeneration, where possible in coordination with wider development team
  • Leads the development of the proposal response
  • Oversee the compilation of pricing models for opportunities, model updates, and periodic pricing reviews.
  • Drive internal approvals and ensure requirements and conditions for the delegated authority are met
  • Research and adhere to all regulatory requirements
  • Ensure uniform implementation of such requirements across solutions and proposals
  • Liaise with the Asset Management team to ensure smooth transition

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 10 years related experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Scheduling and Project Management principles
  • Intermediate Financial Modelling skills
  • Advanced MS office skills, Word, Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint in particular
