Job Summary:

Support the implementation and coordination of projects related to technology operations and applications within the energy and environmental domains. Ensure all activities align with organizational policies, technical standards, and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in evaluating emerging technologies and applications relevant to small and medium-scale renewable energy technologies, including cooling, heating, and water desalination technologies, assessing their potential benefits, limitations, and associated risks.
• Contribute to the analysis and review of tools, platforms, and systems used in technical operations and recommend enhancements to improve infrastructure and performance.
• Support the assessment of technical and operational requirements for renewable energy operation and application development projects and determine priorities in accordance with the national strategies and K.A.CARE’s strategy or ongoing projects, helping to prioritize tasks in line with organizational strategies.
• Coordinate project-related activities and communications with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and aligned execution.
• Participate in the calibration, validation, and quality assurance of equipment, data, and projects to maintain accurate results and compliance with standards.
• Prepare technical reports explaining the status and progress of renewable energy applications and business development projects and submit them to the direct supervisor.
• Continuously identify best international practices and procedures in renewable energy production to realize the visions and approaches of K.A.CARE and the Kingdom.
• Maintain documentation, records, and reports for all projects and ensure data integrity and accessibility for audits or reviews.
• Carry out other related tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Preferred Skills :

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, or equivalent)
• Basic proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, or equivalent) for modeling, automation, or data handling.
• Understanding of data lifecycle processes including collection, validation, and reporting.
• Awareness of environmental data or technical monitoring systems.
• Ability to review and interpret technical documentation such as specifications, scope of work, or system designs.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures for sensor-based data (e.g., calibration, completeness, benchmarking).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences, Energy Engineering, or an equivalent field.

Open to candidates with 0 to 7 years of experience in a related field.
