Job Purpose: –
Prepare design works and review for engineering works done by Junior and design engineers. The seniority level adds an engineering value for guiding the Junior and design engineers.
Key Accountabilities: –
· Study the project documents including drawings, specifications, BOQ (Bill of Quantity), RFI (Request for information), correspondence…etc. to take into consideration all the project details during execution.
· Follow up the material submittals and communicate with the consultant to obtain the approval.
· Conduct estimated quantity survey to determine the quantity of material that need to be purchased or procured
· Delegate tasks to the subordinates and provide them with the needed support to ensure high levels of performance
· Prepare RFIs and send them to the project consultant to obtain missing information and resolve all conflicts
· Communicate with concerned departments to prepare the general project plan.
· Attending FATs
· Contacting and following up suppliers
· Follow-up with the subcontractors all issues related to engineering.
· Preparing of preliminarily base design drawings.
· Review of Junior & design engineer works.
· Guiding Junior & design engineers
· Participate in evaluation of Junior & design engineers
· Technical support at site
· Provide technical support for the Junior & design engineers
· Attending meetings with other departments and suppliers
· Issue Manufacturing Release
· Finalize Purchase Request & Purchase order
· Following up and complying schedule and agreed milestones

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualification & Education: Education: BSc of Mechanical Power/ Electrical Engineering. Requirements technical related training: AutoCAD & Revit. Years of Experience: 5-7 years or more of relevant work experience Language: Fluent English & Arabic (French will be plus). Computer skills: AutoCAD & PVsyst & Sketch up & Microsoft Office
