Join ACWA Power and help engineer the world’s most advanced green hydrogen and ammonia facilities. We’re seeking a sharp, analytical Integrated Plant Design Engineer to lead technical modeling, simulation, and design optimization for our flagship renewable energy projects.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Build and run Excel/VBA-based simulation tools to model renewable energy integration with hydrogen and ammonia plants
  • Support project origination, feasibility, and development with technical optimization and scenario analysis
  • Develop performance models and advise EPC partners on project configuration
  • Coordinate closely with BD, finance, supply chain, and technical teams to optimize designs
  • Conduct risk/opportunity analysis and contribute to project documents (EPC, OTS, O&M, licensing, offtake agreements)
  • Assist in project handovers, LTA reports, and interface with OEMs, licensors, and stakeholders
  • Analyze process options and deliver the most cost-effective, efficient, and safe design outcomes

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering (Chemical preferred)
  • 3+ years in process engineering/design with renewable integration experience
  • Strong skills in Excel/VBA simulation modeling
  • Solid grasp of green hydrogen tech, LCOE/LCOH concepts, and process economics
  • Experience with electrolyzers, ammonia/methanol plant design, and renewables variability impact
  • Familiar with EPC and licensing contracts, and large-scale greenfield project development
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, BD, finance, and execution teams
  • Willing to travel as needed
